A crypto wallet is the advanced form of wallet whereby you can buy and sell cryptocurrencies online. It simply stores the private and public keys which you can use to purchase other crypto coins. You would be surprised to know that there’re over thirteen hundred crypto coins operating in the crypto market. Bitcoin is the most popular cryptocurrency that spawned a huge number of cryptocurrencies.

Everything You Need to Know About Crypto Wallet

There’re different types of crypto wallets to facilitate different needs. These different types include Hardware Wallets, Paper Wallets, Desktop Wallets, Mobile Wallets and Web Wallets. Hardware Wallets are hardware devices aimed at handling public and private addresses. They are comprised of an OLED screen and some side buttons. You can connect them to your PC or mobile device to use them on the go. Paper wallets are not for everyone, since they require a lot of attention and care from the users.  Desktop wallets, as their name suggests, are installable software packages that can be installed on a variety of desktop operating systems such as Windows, Mac, and Linux.

Mobile wallets are the most common type of crypto wallets that are used largely all over the world. It’s so because they’re designed especially for mobile users and are easy to use in comparison to other wallet types. Web wallets are always active and connected to the internet, and therefore they can be accessed through different internet browsers such as Firefox, Google Chrome, and IE.
